Solis is a solar inverter brand from China. It makes on-grid inverters, hybrid inverters (which take a battery), SolisStorage batteries and the SolisCloud monitoring app. In Thailand, TAMNIYOM SOLAR (ตามนิยม) is the official Solis distributor.

What is the difference between Solis models ending in L and H?
L models take a low-voltage 48V battery (40–60 V), such as the S6-EH1P(6-10)K-L-PLUS, S6-EH1P16K03-NV-YD-L and S6-EH3P(10-18)K02-NV-YD-L, used with 51.2V batteries. H models take a high-voltage battery, such as the S6-EH3P10K2-H (120–600 V), S6-EH3P20K-H (120–800 V), S6-EH3P50K-H and S6-EH3P60K-H (21A) (150–800 V) and S6-EH3P(80-125)K (300–950 V). The battery must match the inverter model.
What does (21A) in a Solis model name mean?
21A is the maximum current per solar string, 21 amps, in the Solis datasheet, so the inverter works with new high-power panels. The S6-EH1P10K-L-PLUS (21A) and S6-EH3P60K-H (21A) are new models.
Which LVTOPSUN batteries work with Solis inverters?
Under Solis's battery compatibility list (GLOBAL-V3.7), the low-voltage (L) models work with LVTOPSUN 51.2V batteries such as the LVTS-512392 (20 kWh) and LVTS-512314-G4 (16 kWh). The 10K2-H and 20K-H work with the LVTS-5220-HV and LVTS-512100-3UH. The 50K-H, 60K-H (21A) and 80–125K work with LVTOPSUN HV 48–241 kWh and the LVTSG cabinets. The TAMNIYOM team checks the models before every installation.
Does Solis make its own battery?
Yes. The IntelliHouse-16KWh-OD is a 16 kWh low-voltage LiFePO4 lithium battery from SolisStorage for Solis L hybrids. It lasts 8,000+ cycles, runs up to 8 units in parallel (128 kWh), can be installed outdoors (IP66) and has a 10-year warranty.
Where can I see the Solis datasheets?
Every model card on this page has a "Datasheet" button that opens the PDF on the Solis website, and all of them are listed under "Datasheets for every model". Most are in Thai; the S6-EH1P16K03-NV-YD-L is in English only.
On-grid or hybrid: which should I choose?
An on-grid inverter makes power in the daytime to cut your bill. It has no battery and no power in a power cut. A hybrid takes a battery, stores power for the night and switches to backup in under 10 milliseconds when the grid goes down. If you use power mainly in the daytime, choose on-grid; if you use a lot at night or want backup, choose hybrid.
Which Solis model suits a 1-phase home?
For a battery and backup, the S6-EH1P6K / 8K / 10K-L-PLUS hybrid, or the larger S6-EH1P16K03-NV-YD-L, with a 51.2V battery. If you use power mainly in the daytime and don't need a battery yet, the S6-GR1P5K-S (5 kW) or S5-GR1P10K (10 kW) on-grid.
Does a Solis inverter keep supplying power in a power cut?
Hybrid models keep supplying the backup circuit, switching over in under 10 milliseconds according to the maker's documents. On-grid models stop when the grid goes down, for safety.
I already have an on-grid system. Can I add a battery?
Yes. Several Solis hybrids work alongside an existing on-grid system through AC coupling, such as the S6-EH1P(6-10)K-L-PLUS and S6-EH3P(10-18)K02-NV-YD-L. Send your current inverter model and electricity bill to the TAMNIYOM team for a design.
Can a Solis inverter run with a generator?
The hybrids have a generator port: the 1-phase 6–10 kW takes a generator to match its size and the 50 kW takes a 10–50 kVA generator. The S6-GC110K on-grid runs with a generator without an extra controller.
What is SolisCloud?
SolisCloud is Solis's website and mobile app for watching a solar system: production, use and the battery in real time, alerts when something is wrong, per-string data and remote control. Search for Solis in the App Store or Google Play.
What warranty do Solis inverters have?
Solis inverters bought from TAMNIYOM, the official distributor, have a 10-year warranty from the Thai service centre, with service centres in Wang Noi (Ayutthaya) and Khon Kaen. Ask TAMNIYOM about the warranty terms before you order.
Does TAMNIYOM run Solis installer training?
Yes. TAMNIYOM runs Solis × LVTOPSUN training every month at the Wang Noi service centre in Ayutthaya, with hands-on installation, setup and battery pairing on real equipment. The training is taught in Thai. See the training page for dates and registration.
