What is Solax?

Solax: hybrid and all-in-one inverters, and batteries

Solax is the brand of SolaX Power Network Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. of Hangzhou, China, which makes solar inverters, batteries and energy storage. TAMNIYOM sells and installs 15 Solax models: 1- and 3-phase hybrids of 6–15 kW, all-in-one high-voltage systems, 5.1 and 16 kWh 51.2 V batteries, a 5 kW on-grid inverter and meters, all with a 10-year warranty from Infinity Plus Energy.

Solax 48 V hybrid or all-in-one: what is the difference?

The difference is the battery:

  • X1-HYB-LV, X1-Lite-LV, X3-NEO-LV: a separate 48 V battery such as the LD51C, LD160 or LD16

  • LD160: 16 kWh, floor-standing, indoor (IP40), built-in fire suppression
  • LD16: 16 kWh, floor-standing, outdoor-rated (IP65), built-in fire suppression
